Vick - Latest: Guilty Plea

craigharmann

This thread is over a week old and nobody is calling for this to be in the Lambeau Leap forum. Where's the lock??

that being said, it just shows how growing up as a 'special athlete' can mess up somebody's head. This whole story makes his brother seem like a choir boy.

I don't think it has much to do with Vick feeling he was above the law because he was a big time well paid athlete.I think he was just a rotten dude that happened to strike it rich because he was born a great athlete and his paycheck allowed him the means to pursue his love for this vile practice.Give most rotten people alot of money and they may not use it for dogfighting, but odds are high their true colors will come out and trouble will follow of some kind regardless of their wealth and status. This wasn't the first problem to find Vick,i suspect he took part in quite a few things the Falcons wouldn't have been happy to know about. He simply got busted in this case because he trusted a scummy cousin to live in his home and run this operation. Most criminals aren't exactly the brightest fish in the sea.

I agree with nothing Michael Vick has done, I think it is horrific, but if Leonard Little keeps playing in the NFL, then Michael Vick should also have a chance. Little killed someone drunk driving and then was arrested for drunk driving a few years later. I wonder what would have happened to him under the new discipline policy the NFL is using?

article about Vick's dogs, their potential future, and pet popularity

This amused me in the article:

Michael Bosilevac, a veterinarian who used to treat the pets of some Milwaukee Brewers players, says a player once had his initials engraved into his dog's gold teeth.
I wonder who that was, lol.
"When a piano falls on Yadier Molina get back to me, four letter." - Me, upon reading a ESPN update referencing the 'injury-plagued Cardinals'

blingster, you beat me to it. My guess is it could be Turnbow's dog or maybe Coco's dog. I remember when Richie Sexson was a Brewer and him and his wife were advocates of the Humane Society and Sexson's wife made a calendar of Brewer players and their pets.
