haha that makes me feel much better about our fielding, I can't believe that they let that ball drop between them.

I swear the Cubs let a pop up/fly ball drop between players at least once a season at Miller Park.

In a way to make myself feel better about this season, maybe the increase in extra inning games is a sign the Brewers are starting to be a little more competitive?

Woohoo! I just closed up the library and peeked to see the magical phrase "in play, run(s)."

I can't begin to picture that game ending play, but dagnabbit, I'll take it!

Gomez takes off on a steal attempt from 1st, Counsell bunts. Gomez runs straight through second hustling to third, slides in to third as the throw sails. Soriano never has a chance to back up the play and Gomez trots home. Pretty exciting play.

Does a good throw get Gomez at third? Neither the radio announcers nor anything I've read in this thread or NSBB's thread has answered that.

Does Counsell get an RBI or no 'cos of the error?
