2010-06-06 Brewers (Parra) at Cardinals (Garcia), 7:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 4-3, 10 innings]

Good job hitting with wallop, Corey. Is that fundamental baseball I just saw from the Brewers?

Anyone else a tad concerned with Axford coming in after pitching almost 2 innings yesterday?
Lately, everything concerns me regarding the Brewers. Still, come on, John. We need you to be effective.

Considering that they use the Ultimate Warrior theme for Coffey, I'd really like to see the Brewers use the old WWE Demolition theme music as Axford's entrance music. Let's go, Ax!

nice catch there, 'stach.

nice approaches by Brewers' hitters tonight...being content with singles instead of always swinging for the fences. I've always thought the teams that tried for singles and doubles wound up hitting homers, while teams that try for homers strikeout. Pitchers often times get more upset by bloopers and bleeders than crushed homers.

And Manny threw his fastball with command AND a purpose today. When he does, few can touch his stuff.

Brewers win in extra innings. How unclassy.

Nice job, boys! Enjoy that day off.

I was kind of half hoping that Schumaker would get on so we could see if LaRussa would use his backup catcher (and last hitter on the bench)to pinch hit for the pitcher. I'd rather have the win.

Huzzah! The Classies still haven't swept the Brewers in STL since 2003 (a factoid cited on the radio broadcast tonight).

Manny Parra gets the radio team's star of the game, and I agree. Manny - dude - you've got to remember how you pitched tonight, and keep doing that.

The last Sunday Night Baseball game I stated that was the night we were going to break the curse, It didn't work/I wasn't right so I'm not going to make an predictions this time.

Can I take credit for this?
