Jake only pitched 47 innings last year not counting EST, I wouldn't expect his innings to exceed 100 by very much and he's already pitched more than 46 for the T-Rats this season He's on the back end of the tandem for a bit to limit his innings, it will happen a couple of more times throughout the season I would think.

It really bugs me how the guy in the commercial pronounces it arthroscopy.

That commercial is way better than a commercial for a restaurant that used to be on the Huntsville broadcast, the dude sounded like he had mouth full food samples while talking during the commercial, it drove me nuts.

 

 

Anyway, Garfield guns another on a Strike em Out Throw em Out to end the Lake County 3rd, still 0-0 to the 4th.

Ha Chris! I quote, "You know Haley is wild when Romero takes the first pitch." Romero is a free swinger, and Haley just walked him for his 7th walk of the game. If the T-Rats wouldn't have cost themselves 3 outs on the bases so far they might have broken this open already.

Richardson just lined a clutch two-out RBI single with the bases loaded on an 0-2 count. The Rattlers were really close to getting only one run out of the inning, which would have meant 7 walks + 3 hits = 1 run in four innings, setting them up for the heartbreak we've come to know too well this year.

Manatees game at Jupiter cancelled and won't be made up (don't play again in the first half).

 

On a related note, the Manatees make an environmental statement. The story has already been picked up by USA Today, so they will get their point across.

Richardson helping out on defense too, throwing out a runner at the plate to temporarily stave off further implosion from Del Howell, who's already allowed two runs. That's Richardson's 8th assist this year.

I don't know, Davis' pace for 100+ K's is always troubling. I really was excited for Krieger last year, but he hasn't been playing after surprisingly not making a full season club to open the year.

I really wanted Lofgren to do well but it's just not happening thus far.
