Actually that's exactly what Chris said during the broadcast, I used his phrasing "jobbed" in my post. His blog post was much less inflammatory

Kris Davis just hit a ball over the Batter's Eye in CF, T-Rats up 1-0.

edit. Sounds like it was at least a 440 foot shot, as it cleared the concession stand behind the eye, quite a charge in that ball.

So the Rattlers have tried to steal 2 bases and have been thrown out twice. The first was Richardson, the second was Dykstra and Chris said the ball was waiting for him, never a good thing.

Bah Chris, the Baby Faced Assassin is a much better nickname than Houdini... For reference Chris was talking about Bucci wiggling his way out of a 2nd and 3rd jam with 1 out after he threw a fastball over Garfield's head to the backstop allowing both runners to move up. This time he got a strike out and a dribbler back to the mound.

edit. spelling.

Khris Davis is having a fantastic year. I say move him AND Gennett up and put Dykstra back at second. The offense would be putrid, but we need to start rewarding guys for consistently great play. What do I know though. I guess we just gotta trust the system and the plan.

Garfield throws out Galvez for the second time in 2 days. Prior to his encounter with Garfield the past 2 days, Galvez was 13/14 for stole base attempts on the season. I wonder if Garfield was working on the running game with his days off because he's been much better of late, which is nice. There have been games this season where it's been a merry-go-round on the base paths.

The BFA (Baby Faced Assassin) with another great outing. This time with only 1 walk. 5 IP, 3 H, 1 BB, 6 K.

Edit: Bucci gets a little nicked up in the 6th. Leadoff double, eventually sacrificed in.

Re-Edit: After the fireworks, namely poor fielding, Bucci's final line is still respectable.

Peter Fatse has hit his way all the way down to 7th in the T-Rats lineup. After hitting to a 1.165 OPS in April with a slash line of .348/.448/.717 he only to hit a .599 OPS in May. His slash line for the month .187/.291/.308...

Lo Cain triples in the 1st... My feeling is that the organization has been waiting for Schafer to come back before bumping up Cain but he's gotten in over 400 ABs in AA now, he stats have been amazingly consistent between April and May. Bite the bullet and promote the young man, he's earned it.

Ohh no, Bucci just threw a ball away into the runner and something happened with Dennis at 1B as he reached back into the runner for the ball. Chris hasn't said if it was a collision or not, but Dennis is down on the field right now.

edit. It was a collision at 1B, he's up and going to stay in the game.
