This team has got to score when they get a lead-off double. They have not done so several times this year and that sucks.

Normally I would have been yelling at the TV, but Santana is pitching.

Kottaras is a left-handed batter, with a lefty on the mound. Lucroy is a right-handed hitter, right? Seems like a rough match up for Kottaras, but what do I know.
Surprisingly, lefties are hitting Johan better than righties this year: .254/.294/.429 for LHP as opposed to .239/.289/.341. Not sure Macha would trust Lucroy against Santana regardless of the splits, though.

Better in all of the categories you listed, very surprising. Well, maybe I worked some reverse-psychology magic.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure the coaching staff would relish sending a rookie with only a few MLB AB's out there against Santana.

This is a fantastic baseball game. Man very few bad plays. Nice catch from Bay right there. I love watching the Brewers play baseball like this. Even if we lose tonights game, its refreshing to see a pitching dual in Milwaukee again.

When's the last time we've been ahead on pitch count?
I thought about saying, "when Sabathia wore Brewer blue," but if you mean a better pitch count than the opposing starter, I think it has happened at times since 2008.

Feel free to come chat about it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Santana has thrown Weeks 2 mistakes in pitcher counts in both of his SO ab's, and he takes both of them. Dude's got fake plate patience.

The day after he took a full count pitch that was easily close enough to swing at for a walk-off walk? sheesh...
