Wow, what an incredible pitching matchup. This is one of the best we'll see all year. I can't wait. Hopefully the righties can rough up Johan & give Yovani some support.

For those that haven't noticed, the Mets are coming off a sweep of the Phillies in which they shut them out in every game -- that's 27 straight scoreless innings. Their pitching is hot, to say the least.

What happened to the black and white pictures?
From the 5/26 IGT:

You didn't miss anything, it's just something I decided to do until the

Brewers either win a series or win 4 in a row, I haven't decided which.

So far we're 2-1 since I started doing it, so I'm clearly effecting

things!

Mission accomplished. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Fielder hitting third, Braun fourth, according to MLB.com's Jordan Schelling. Interesting look against Santana.

Edit: But Anthony Witrado says it's the same lineup as usual. Who's right? Guess we'll find out when the game starts...

Wiltrado edited the blog entry. Macha wants Fielder third vs. LHP to force them to pitch to Fielder since Braun over his career has crushed LHP.

I wonder how Witrado got the lineup wrong the first time -- it almost seems like he just assumed what the lineup would be and posted it without checking, based on what he wrote the first time around.

Even if its just a tiny sample, Yovanni is doing statisticly better than Johan. How about that? Wouldnt that be something?

The Mets have an amazing lineup. Jason Bay/Wright is just an absolutely deadly combination. Hopefully our power of shelling lefties holds strong during this game. You can just never count Johan out. But at least it is Yovanni. I'm kinding of confusing myself in my head with the Jo and Yo haha.

Ugh. I've been busy and haven't been able to follow the team extra closely. I check in when I can, but Fielder is still down at .264? Get it together.
He was up to .275 at the start of the Houston series, which isn't too far off his career .282 average. Still, it's hard to criticize him for not hitting when he's not getting anything to hit. At least he's becoming more and more selective instead of swinging at the stuff out of the zone. Thankfully, Casey's been making teams pay for pitching around Prince.

Kottaras is a left-handed batter, with a lefty on the mound. Lucroy is a right-handed hitter, right? Seems like a rough match up for Kottaras, but what do I know.

I was thinking the same thing but looks like it worked out so far.
