Minneapolis - Ryan Braun's only job today is to hit. Joe Inglett will play left field with Rickie Weeks back in the lineup.

 

The sky is dark gray and the rain has been coming down all morning, but the rumor is it will clear up by game time, so we'll see.

Well, he was stupid enough to keep Dave Bush on the roster. Oh wait, that might be Melvin.

Yeah because only having 3 bad starts this whole year for Bush is a stupid reason for not having Bush on the roster. Other than Gallardo Bush has been the second best starter on the Brewers pitching staff. To put this in perspective Bush has only given up 3 or more runs twice this year. TWICE! So how is that again stupid to have Bush on the roster?

Looks like Giants-A's is on MLBN for TWC customers in Milwaukee, so FSN for us it is. At least Go-Go worked Slowey for a few pitches.

The DFA vigilantes are getting a little carried away here. I'm as concerned as anyone about Bush's dropoff this year, but the guy was a solid starter until the injury last year. It wasn't unreasonable to think he'd have recovered by now. It does appear he hasn't, but to call Melvin stupid is over-dramatic and wrong IMO.
