Bring the camera TLB...

Wonder if Fiers will be able to follow up his dominating performance last time out for the Manatees with something equally spectacular.

Ok, really good suggestion. Not much of a camera though, so I can't promise great image quality.

Then a scouting report will do... *wink*

Just sit by the scouts and let us know what they're talking about http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'll do my best on scouting info, and I'll definitely note velocities for Odorizzi. The seats are behind the Rattlers' dugout, and I'm sure the scouts will be behind HP. I'd say I'll just move, but since the weather is so nice (& Gomez is in town), those seats might actually be occupied. I'll probably move around to take some photos.

Gamel is in the lineup, 0-1 thus far.

Josh Butler actually started for BC tonight and didn't fare too well.

Yea but somehow the score is tied at 7s. Odorizzi had a rough 4th but otherwise he hasn't walked a batter and has 6Ks thus far.

edit. The score isn't tied any longer, Fiers came in and gave up 3 of his own runs.

Final: Charlotte 11, Brevard County 8

Brevard County box score

Well, the Manatees doubled their season total in home runs with two tonight, but it wasn't enough to overcome a disastrous rehab start from Josh Butler and shaky relief from Mike Fiers. Butler allowed seven runs in 2.1 innings and Fiers three in 3.2 innings. The 'Tees' taters were courtesy of Brock Kjeldgaard and Anderson de la Rosa. Matt Cline went 4-5 and saw his first action at shortstop this year while a rehabbing Mat Gamel started at third base; Gamel was 0-3 with a walk. Josh Prince pinch hit for Gamel in the 8th and flew out. Kentrail Davis was moved up to the leadoff spot and went 1-4 with a walk and stole his 4th base. Erik Komatsu was 1-3 with a walk.

No way, the same thing happened to me, I just noticed they came back and tied the game and tuned in.

The best thing about the minor league, for me, is having a distraction when the Brewers are playing poorly.

Tonight, the Brewers won. Which is good, because their were some less than stellar performances in the minor leagues so far tonight. Tough start for Gamel and Butler.
