great. a 4A player. that'll put us over the top. that and another half dozen relievers, so yost can make twice as many pitching changes.

How can you criticize a move, when you don't know the other half of it.

Or don't know much about the player who's coming up.

I didn't know anything about him until the Brewers picked him up, and I didn't research him at all until he was added to the 40 man, and I follow the minors very closely. He might be labeled a AAAA player, but he can be more than that... He just hasn't had much opportunity and struggled in very small MLB samples.

His MiLB stats were linked, here's his career.

He's had a grand total of 36 ABs, and never hit well enough in spring training to make the big club. However, he's not your typical 4A player.

I kinda see a move like this as nothing more than a Thank You to a player that has dominated AAA this year. With Linebrink going on Bearevement (sp?) Dillion will get a few games on the big league club maybe get an AB or two and then get sent down.

I would just hope they can find a way to get Dillion a start. See what he can do.

Well to be fair to Joe, what does one start tell us? Unless of course he's 5-5 with 5 bombs...

So when Linebrink comes back, do we send Parra back to Nashville, or at that point does Elmer get traded/DFA'ed?

I think Rickie to AAA makes all the sense in the world right now, but I had hoped Dessens would never pitch for the Brewers again.

Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for him now that he's here....but I expect nothing good to come of it.

My initial thought was that Dillon would start at 2B tomorrow for sure versus the lefty, but he's actually been hitting RHP better in AAA. Graffy should still be in there, unless they just really want to see what Joe has for a few days.

Dessens in the pen will allow Bush to stick in the rotation on Thursday or Friday.

Here's a question. When Papa Scott comes back, does Parra go down? I was hoping to see him pitch Wednesday, but it doesn't look like he is going to get a shot at Win #1... Nevertheless, Elmer shouldn't be seen in Milwaukee as long as our starters perform up to par.

I think it's a move that's been a long time coming (Weeks, that is). I think I and others were calling for this to happen when he came off the DL a month ago.
