Bored at Work?? Help The Milw. Team!

blkhwk91b

Hey fellow Brewers Fans!

I hope this is ok to post in the off-topic area. A couple guys and I, and others on the internet, play a game online at work (I play at home too) called Pinch Hitter 2. The game is totally free and all that stuff, no downloads etc.

Anyway, WE NEED HELP!! You score points by hitting balls and trying to score home runs. The contest between other teams is weekly. With a few of us we can usually make it in the top 6-7 by the end of the week. However, we just don't have enough manpower to get the Milwaukee team fighting for 1st place week by week.

Check it out. If nothing else, it's a great time killer when you get bored.

Hope to see you there,

This is actually kind of fun, although I feel like Rickie Weeks because I am out infront of everything lol.

The weekly points will reset tonight (Sunday) at midnight. Looks like Boston is going to take it for the third week in a row. If we can get some people rounded up we might give them a run for their money this coming week.

Stand on top of the plate and just shoot everything foul. Pretend you are Ichiro, LOL. That "don't make an out or a strike" level gave me fits .

Now I feel like JJ Hardy with every fielder being Scott Thorman. Any time I hit a ball anywhere they catch it lol.

I tried it, but cannot hit HRs. I got to level 4, but needing back-to-back HRs has stopped me.

I can't make it past "make 20000" points in the majors. They make plays of the week and steal my points every time I hit an 8000 point HR lol.

I got lucky. I got 20,000 on about my 10th try and I've played another 100 games or so and only got to 20,000 one more time. If anyone has any more tips for hitting HR's, I would be happy to hear them.

Edit: Is anyone able to pull the ball for a HR? I hit all of mine to center or dead right.

HITTING HOMERS:

Use the end of the bat, it is the sweet spot. Also, try and hit the bottom of the ball. I picture hitting the bottom of the ball with the upper right corner of the bat. With a little adjusting you will find your groove.

I also have another preference; I start with the "ghost bat" in the upper left area of the strike zone. As the pitch is thrown I track the ball as it comes toward the plate. I have seen others play well not using this method but it works real well for me.

Team Standings.

You can view team standings only after you play a round (10 pitches) or finish one of the tasks. Make sure you click on "SUBMIT" so your points are counted and then it will show you a listing of the points. On the left side of the listing you have three choices that show team points, individual hitters for the day, and past week team winners.

are you an actual brewer fan or a marketing representative of mousebreaker.com?

I only ask because your first post reads like a form letter. Granted this is innocent solicitation, but I have friends who work internet marketing and this is the sort of stuff they're paid to do.

I love this game(is it me, or is it harder to hit a HR in little league?). As for getting around it, i donno, maybe anonymouse.org? I doubt it tho.

I need some tips. I can't beat the second stage! I keep getting to like two pitches left and than get out

Hit on top of the ball. that will cause it to be a grounder, and won't be an out.

I find that trying to hit a HR in little league is harder now because it will hit clearly over the line for a HR but it won't count it. I had 4(!!) HR's not counted in 10 pitches once, lol.
