I'm glad the Brewers won the game today and completed the sweep and I feel horrible that we weren't there in person to watch the games. But I'm glad that now I can take a short nap rather than be behind the wheel back home for 3+ hours.

I can't believe that after that 1-3 start in San Diego the Brewers came back to go 6-4 on the trip. Hope they can have a good homestand now. I'm going to the game Wednesday, got seats behind home plate like 20 rows back and Gallardo is on the mound. Can't wait.

Hats off to Macha for bullpen use today. I am all for bringing the best reliever in the highest leverage situation regardless of the inning...he did it today with Coffey. Also didn't push Narveson too hard. As well as he's pitched, he has shown a little wear around the 70-80 pitch mark...may take him a bit longer to go deeper.

Enough of this silly Ned-Yostian he's my "x" inning guy. When it's close and we're facing the meat of the order, just bring in Coffey.

I agree SoCal, Macha needs to use Coffey like the Cubs used Marmol a few years ago. Bring him in the 6th, 7th or 8th whenever the biggest situation comes up and we needs outs. Hoffman can have the 9th, but before that no one should have set roles.

Man, who would have thought this time last Sunday that the Brewers could salvage the road trip as much as they did?

I watched this game from a relative's house and was encouraged by the Narv-dog's performance, not to mention Chris helping his own cause. The family and I were also distressed to see Soup give up hit, hit, hit in the 9th. I suppose all's well thanks to the pitcher's best friend.

Keep rolling, Brewers. Don't feel that returning to Miller Park has to stop you.

Oh - and sometime in the FSWisconsin broadcast, I heard someone send it back to Craig using the nickname "Coshuny." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Not cool. Not cool at all.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
