All I gotta say is Macha is lucky he put in Gerut. I didn't think he wouldn't put him in, but I'm glad that he did...otherwise he would have gotten rocked on all forums of this nature.

Go Crew! Finish it up.

As long as he's in CF that's all that matters. Even though we all know Edmonds will be back in CF tomorrow night. The real question is, will Gerut get playing time when Gomez comes back even if he continues to hit well? I say the answer to that is no unfortunately. Gerut has proven to be good with regular playing time, so I wouldn't mind him getting some regular starts.

Hopefully, of the manic-depressive (aka, score 10 runs or 0) Brewers, this early homer means that the manic (10 runs) Brewers will show up today.

Please show why the Yankees were so willing to offer Kennedy in every trade package for the last four years.

At December's Clubhouse Sale, Narveson's locker name plate was in the $10 pile with all of the current and recent minor leaguers and scrubs. I had it in my hand, and was this close to buying it. Now I wish I would have, he's quickly become one of my favorite Brewers. Oh, and Corey Patterson's name plate was one of the ones hanging up, and like $50, explain that one to me.

Kennedy with only 41 pitches through 4 and looking sharp. Narveson might have to be very good over the next couple frames for the Crew to get the W. He's been up to the task so far, but the offense is asking a lot of him right now.

I'm usually not terrifically concerned that the Brewers are getting dominated by some guy who's not missing bats at all. Eventually some of those fly balls will hit grass (or seats), and some of those ground balls will reach the outfield. Right now the Brewers have a .222 BABIP, and only two Ks (one looking).

They may not be squaring up many balls, but if the guy can't get them to swing and miss, they'll make adjustments and get there.
