One is going to be a birthday present for a friend but I have no idea what to do with the other three??

 

I don't even know what one of these games is even worth??

The new May Mears auction opens tomorrow. I just looked at the Milwaukee items up, and I think they may be running too many auctions too quickly. I think they need to be a little more choosey with the items the accept in.

How do you know what they are putting up to auction before they actually list?

That Paul Molitor game used jersey is pretty cool. Too bad I don't have a grand burning a whole in my pocket.

Mears is weird, as they really do almost no preview, and then the auction is up, and it's over in a week. A little tough to plan ahead of time. I guess you just have to see something you like and decide quickly how much you want it.

 

That's not tough on a $50 item. But a Wagner bat or vintage jersey, that's another thing.

 

As for this one, I also like that Molitor jersey, but won't be participating. Just too rich for right now.

 

A couple of those pennants look intriguing, however. . .

I'm assuming the Burdette estate items will be in the June auction as I didn't see much personal items from him in this auction. The Molitor jersey is nice, and one of the Deer jerseys is personalized to Nancy.

 

I seen the Braun helmet and Redd jersey they have at the auction at Gonzaga Hall auction. I'm sure thats where those came from as I didn't stay long enough for them to come up for bid.

 

I like the Braves seat cushion. That is something I've never seen before.

Mears has some great old Braves items in their upcoming June auctions. Even if you have no interest or money its worth looking at. The Burdette no-hitter gold glove deserves to be displayed at Miller Park. Heck, all the Burdette no-hitter items. This is the 1st I've ever seen the Braves glasses.

I'm not really in the market, but the Andy Pafko glass is pretty neat (he and I share a birthday).
