Link Report for Friday, April 30th -- Impressive List of Starters

Mass Haas

I love the Power 50 and the work that goes into it, but the fact that Wheeler is now again not even on the list just confuses me. The guy has performed on a very consistant basis, shows position flexability, has been recognized as the best in his league on a regular basis through all-star selections, shows excellent secondary skills.....I could go on.

What is the deal with this seriously? The guy is a top 30 player and has been for a while. Heether gets love as a freaking 28 year old and Wheeler is bumped off the list? I do not get it..

Wheeler was incredibly hot to start last season and then fell off, he's been very inconsistent in full season ball. Check out his month to month splits on minor league splits, he's another guy that's just very tough to get a read on. I actually liked Wilson more than him coming into the season.

Also to be fair, I don't recall a single prospect list anywhere that has Wheeler in the top 30, I just double checked BA and he's not there.
