Edmonds not only in the bottom but back to back with Kottaras. What the crap Macha. Your lineups were pretty good for the last week. Get Gomez back in the bottom. Just because he had a few good days doesn't mean he can hit.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Fielder home run stats

2006 - 5 in April, one before April 18th and two before April 22nd

2007 - 6 in April, one before April 20th and two before April 23rd

2008 - 4 in April, one before April 23rd

2009 - 3 in April, one before April 25th

2010 - first homer April 22nd

No reason to worry, Prince will heat up with the weather.

On a subject that many of you have asked about -- why Carlos Gomez bats second when he plays -- Macha said he thought about flipping Gomez with Alcides Escobar, who has been batting eighth and has a much higher on-base percentage (.354 to .263). Macha said he likes the impact Gomez can have with his speed in the No. 2 spot when he does get on base, such as Wednesday night when he scored from third on Casey McGehee's tapper in front of the plate.

Asked how many players could have scored on that play, Macha said, "Not many."

Macha also said that Escobar, despite being a free swinger, has done well in the No. 8 spot and doesn't want to necessarily mess with that success.

Macha sucks.
