Great 11 pitch single there by Prince, maybe that will get him

going.

 

He swung at a lot of balls too that AB, as if to say I'll be damned if I'm going to take another walk during this slump.

 

Does anyone know why Fielder decided to keep that ball?

To give to the guy in the stands wearing a Fielder jersey who got nailed by Prince's foul ball.

Not very big of a crowd there tonight.
I just looked at Pittsburgh's ticket prices on their website, and seats behind the plate in the first deck were only $27 for tonight's game. A Pittsburgh road trip might be a good idea sometime in the near future.

I just looked at Pittsburgh's ticket prices on their website, and seats behind the plate in the first deck were only $27 for tonight's game. A Pittsburgh road trip might be a good idea sometime in the near future.

 

I'll be sitting there at least one game during the July series. Can't wait.

Anyone catch what Bill said after Duke was caught off second on the grounder to Escobar? It was classic, as he said Duke violated the unwritten rule of running on a ground ball hit in front of him. I always wondered if baseball fundamentals were considered unwritten rules. Thanks to our great broadcasting team, now I know.

 

As for DISH, this is beyond frustrating. The rep just ran through a bunch of diagnostics, unnecessarily, and came to the conclusion that DISH Network does not guarantee all the broadcasts will be in HD. She admitted it is a DISH issue, and not a Fox Sports issue. I'm done with the Dish.

Probably a good decision. Dish has always been pretty lackluster in my opinion. Directv is good with the exception of their customer service and billing department. Making changes to your programming can be quite the headache.

I know it's the Pirates, but with Saturday's loss still fresh in my mind, I'll take it. (Also, with LaTroy's Friday appearance still fresh in my mind, I'm glad they put him in tonight.)

 

12,192 at PNC...that's sad, for such a nice park.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
