FSN HD

Crazyk1294
Is anyone else having issues with picture quality FSN HD? I have Time Warner (Milwaukee) and the picture and sound are reminicant of the Dish durring stormy weather. So far every game I've watched on FSN HD has been like this. Is this Time Warner's fault or FSN's fault?

Have had the same problem with mine through time warner since we got it 6 weeks ago.

In fact, it happens on all our HD channels. Really terrible. They say its our HD DVR that is the problem and that rebooting it will solve the problem, but it never has.

They said it would be two months until someone came out to fix it.

We're switching over to Dish Network.

1. Make sure all of the connections are good

2. Make sure you have good quality cables. You can do a lot better than the componant cables Time Warner gives...

3. If everything else seems fine, but the picture/sound stil sucks, call TW and demand they bring you a new box, and that yours is not functioning properly

The only other HD problem I've had with Time Warner is on TNT HD, sometimes the audio isn't synced up properly with the video.

I've noticed that too a few times. Same with CBS HD during the NCAA tourney. Also, TNT HD looks funny on Widescreens...

good thing I dont watch TNT very much...

Seriously, I've never had better service than Time Warner. They've been willing to rewire the entire house.

Same here. I've heard a lot of negative things about them, but I have used Time Warner for many years (off and on) and always get great service. This is off topic I know, but wanted to give credit where credit is due.

By the way, not sure I would have stayed up until the 13th if the games wasn't in HD!

I wonder though if that was on CBS's side. CBS didn't do a very good job with the HD broadcast in the tourneys. Why was it that they could only broadcast one game at a time in HD? It was really annoying to be watching a game in HD, and then it would swap to standard because CBS decided some other game was more important.
