Wrigley Field - Parking?

Going to the game tomorrow (from Madison), looking for recommendations on parking. A guy I know from Chicago recommended a tucked away residential area about 3 miles from the stadium, where we'd park and get a cab.

 

But I see on Cubs.com they advertise a shuttle from DeVry University to Wrigley for $6. Has anyone used that? We'll be arriving in the area barely ahead of the first pitch, and won't want to wait around 20-30 minutes for shuttle - how often do they move?

 

EDIT: I see that the DeVry University shuttle is only available for night and weekend games, so that's out.
