Practice - Saturday, April 17th - 11:00 AM (bring your checkbook!)

Thought it might be nice to plan the next practice with a little more notice. I'm open to suggestions on day/time/place. It's a little early to predict the weather, but assuming next weekend is nice enough, I'd be on board with anything either on Saturday or Sunday. For location, Dyer park is pretty centrally located in the metro area and there was a field open at all times when we were there this past Saturday.

EDIT: Officially on. Saturday, April 17th, 11:00 AM at Dyer Field.

The earlier the better, how about 11:00? Last Saturday we met at 10:00, but we can go later for those coming from out of town. There was another group that showed up to practice around 11:45 last time, I'd be worried that noon would lower our chances of having a field

Sorry guys, but I've got Boy Scout camping with my kid this weekend. You'll have to find someone else to hit weak grounders to third for fielding practice.

I'm hoping to get a $37.91 check from everyone in attendance. Also, I'll have player registration cards to fill out for those not at the last practice.

 

Razzzor, is your cousin coming? If he and firenick are both at this practice, I'll have met all the new guys. Which would be nice.

Valpo & gang... I could see if some guys from my other team would want to come out and maybe play a scrimmage. No idea what the turnout would be but I can toss it out to them if you're interested.

In order for me to make it, it has to be either Friday evening or first thing Saturday morning. I need to get out of town by noon on Saturday. When I checked the weather earlier this week, it didn't look good for those days. If you guys want to practice at a time I can't make it, I can try to get you the practice balls.....
