Chris interviews IF prospect Cutter Dykstra. They discuss the game winning hit last night, his position switch to 3rd base, and the difference between last season and this season for Cutter.

Wisconsin Timber Ratters Pre Game Audio

Chris interviews pitching coach Chris Hook. They discuss the pitching trend in general then Heckathorn's efficiency, Nick Bucci's fastball command, and the pros of the tandem system. Finally they finish off the interview by discussing the organizational goal that no pitcher exceeds more than 30 IP from the previous season.

I was hoping they would discuss Arnett, I'd like to get the organization's take on him, but no such luck this time.

Nashville's Stu Paul interviews Brewers Roving Pitching Instructor Lee Tunnell at the May 30th audio links (Parts 1 & 2)

Other than some Tim Dillard insight, not the conversation some of us might have had with Tunnell -- that's not Stu's fault, it's a veteran staff in Nashville, and the local audience there in town is his first audience. Hopefully we'll get to hear more later in the year regarding the lower-level arms...

June 2 - Chat with Brewers Minor League Hitting Coordinator Darnell Coles

Coles comes across as very well-spoken, polished, and professional, yet genial and personable. If his communication skills translate as well to the players, one can definitely picture him on a big league coaching staff someday.

Chris interviews Lake County radio announcer Craig Deas. I normally don't link the non player related interviews, and Chris does quite a few, but I thought this was pretty insightful. For example I didn't realize that the Indians have 4 affiliates in the state of Ohio. They also discuss that Lake County is only about 25 minutes from Progressive Field, the Indians skipping prospects past Lake County, and OF prospect Bo Greenwell. The T-Rats will also see rehabbing Cleveland 1B Andy Marte this weekend.

This is a must listen for minor league fans. Chris interviews manager Jeff Isom and Chris really nailed this interview.

Chris and Jeff discuss a multitude of topics including the possible

promotions of Kyle Heckathorn and Jake Odorizzi.

Nashville outfielder Brendan Katin (Parts I and II) at the June 6th audio link

Found his experience working alongside the very young players in extended spring training during rehab unique -- had to "take charge", of course, pitches going "everywhere" down in Maryvale; relives College World Series memories...

Another excellent interview from Chris who interviews pitching coach Chris Hook. They discuss pitching

prospects Nick Bucci, Kyle Heckathorn, and Jake Odorizzi in detail.

They also discuss the pitching staff as a whole and Steven Strasburg's

debut last night

Two-Part Nashville Audio Chat with Pitching Coach Rich Gale

Discusses the decision to have Tim Dillard start Friday instead of Mike Jones, more on Dillard's new delivery; Sam Narron a new dad, explaining his stint on the inactive list -- congrats! Part 2 (separate link, same page) focuses on Chuck Lofgren's pitches up in the zone; the Sounds' callups to Milwaukee; and Mike McClendon's creativity and individuality (interesting)...
