Just to share for a moment -- I believe the Red Sox have expanded (what else?) their radio pre-game shows to a full hour, and they include a daily or near-daily segment in which they air one of the interviews from one of their minor league affiliates. Wonderful exposure for the broadcasters, naturally, but also gives the fans a chance to learn more from minor league staff or players. Who wouldn't enjoy the Mark Rogers audio that will be posted shortly in this thread? Most of the 'casual" fans aren't checking out the big league pre-game anyway, so include it for those who would -- folks like us!

Tell everyone I'm sorry for the delay in our start the last game or two. Last night, the station was having technical issues, not us and that's why we were delayed a few moments. We will be updating audio all season long. I am working today to catch up on that because it was a hectic last few days. Each game will have highlights posted and we are working to get complete game archives set up somehow.

Here's Chad's site's audio page should you wish to bookmark it (although we will be linking quite often). So you can go there and catch up on various game highlights from past games.

 

It remains to be seen how the timing will work, but even if it's a day behind, it's a welcome development. Thanks, Chad!

My apologies to Chris and Charlie, I missed the start of the interview as I didn't realize how late it was.

 

Chris interviews Field Coordinator & Catching Instructor Charlie Greene. I missed

the start of the interview but they discussed being an injury away from

promotion, a brief mention of Jonathan Lucroy being the next in line, the jump to full

season ball, and the grind of being an everyday catcher.
