I don't know about discounts but they'll set you up with stuff for say longest drive or longest putt or closest to the pin type stuff. What are you looking to spend?

I think Ironwood golf course in Sussex is well known for hosting various golf outings and events. You may also want to try The Broadlands in North Prairie or Edgewood in Big Bend.

Ok a few other things I didn't mention in my original post.

- I plan on there being either 3 or 4 foursomes

- price needs to be under $50 for 18 holes w/ cart

- we aren't looking for longest drive kind of stuff, but some courses may offer a discount for something like a bachelor party (i think silver spring does)

- We plan on the tee times being between 7:15 and 7:45. a 4 hour round gets us done by 11:45.

- The course can't be too far away from my house (near mount mary college), because we will be REALLY pressed for time.

- The reason we are pressed for time is because there is a 3pm brewer game that day (stupid national TV games http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif ), and we plan on getting a school bus and going to to miller park to tailgate before the game. i would prefer to get down to miller park by 12:45. this means we need to be back at my house and getting on the bus between 12:15 and 12:30.

that all being said, ironwood, the broadlands and edgewood are probably too far. courses that seem to be close enough that are "good enough courses" for us to play are silver spring island course, dretska, brown deer, and maybe fire ridge ?

I think any of the County courses would fit your price contraints (other than Brown Deer). However, getting 3 or 4 back to back tee times might be an issue on a Saturday (unless maybe you go to some place like Greenfield Park). Did you try New Berlin Hills (on the other side of 124th street - across from Greenfield)?

Edit: I'm doubtful that any of the county courses would block off 3 or 4 tee times in advance for you. You would most likely have to go through their phone reservation system, which is available 7 days in advance of the reservation (and you would need a county golf ID card to access this system I believe).

Scenic View always seemed really good about hosting small events. Maybe Kettle Hills as well. I have never played in these kinds of events out west, although Waukesha county has some amazing golf for the prices

Knowing this is the beginning of a bachelor party, I'd recommend Fire Ridge. It's owned by the McGillicudy's folks. They know how to throw a party. Their bar/restaurant is always staffed by fun, attractive folks, just like their downtown bar. The food isn't bad either. It's the "most fun place" of the ones you're pursuing.

Try to call the county parks office and book a group. They can meet both of your needsthat were the consecutive times 3-4 and be under $50.00. The other way is to call Hanc

(Professional) in the shop 414-354-7300. This will be a great option for you with the distance from your house.
