The problem is you're asking for an irrational function. A rational function has at most one

horizontal asymptote or oblique (slant) asymptote, and possibly many

vertical asymptotes.

Yeah, this actually is as hard as I was making it.

 

And I lied about what I actually needed. I'm looking for an equation with asymptotes at y=x and y=20.

 

I got as far as trying to use eigenvectors of (0,1) and (-1,-1) at the critical point (5, 20) and work backwards or something, but figured I was in over my head a little. I had a differential equations course, but it's been over a year and I hadn't used anything from it outside the class.
