The Brewers' media notes also indicates that Rule 5 LHP Chuck Lofgren is also scheduled to appear today.

 

Yet at the same time we feel confident enough to once again highlight and feature the Iribarren / Lofgren thread at the top of our forums.

 

It's complicated, but it appears the Brewers may be taking advantage of a window of opportuntity to still play and/or showcase the two players in between the time paperwork was submitted to the league office and when it becomes officially announced.

 

Some folks may ask why continue to play either, but each player could be traded still, and allowing the player to compete and be scouted by other teams would benefit the Brewers.
