I find these interesting every year and they are free so everyone can view them.

The Brewers come out as the lowest risk team in the NL Central and one of the lowest in baseball. Weeks is the only red player with not a single red pitcher which every other team in the NL has. The Cubs and Cardinals both have high risk teams again this year, I imagine one of them will suffer a lot of injuries and fall out of the race just like last year with the Cubs.

Hmm, maybe the actual spreadsheet is premium then. That would be a rather odd choice to link a premium resource in a free article.

For the Brewers we have

Red - Weeks

Yellow - Zaun, Hart, Gallardo, Wolf, Bush, Hoffman

Green - Fielder, McGehee, Escobar, Braun, Gomez, Davis, Suppan, Hawkins

Cubs have 5 reds and 6 yellows. Cardinals have 4 reds and 6 yellows.

How is Suppan green? He had injury issues last season and is 35. Parra not being listed is a problem, he's likely Yellow if not Red.

I'm guessing Suppan falls under this category talked about in the article.

One thing I do want to comment on here is something I've been jokingly referring to as the "suck green." One of the factors that the system takes into account is the projected playing time that any player is expected to have. This is their exposure, for the most part, and for pitchers, it's a huge factor. Some players are projected to play such a low amount of time or are expected to be replaced that they end up green. This doesn't make them good, but their lack of talent leads to a lack of exposure and by proxy, a lack of risk
