Weeks' contract status

The new reports over the weekend indicated only 6 players possibly going to arbitration that were tendered contracts. Gerut, Hart, Gomez, CV, Coffey and Bush. No Weeks but if I recall he signed a one year contract last year to avoid arbitration and don't recall him signing an extension. So what is his contract situation for next year?

That is odd, I wonder if it has something to do with Weeks signing a major league deal upon signing. He'll be back, and will go to arby if not signed first.

I think it has to do with the oddity of him signing a Major League deal out of the draft. Somebody might be able to elaborate on that.

I inquired with the Brewers, and Weeks is arbitration-eligible again this year.

 

It appears the lack of his name among all the arbitration-eligible players has simply been an oversight in reporting from all the usual sources.
