RIP--LeRoy Kilps

For those of us who have been to the shows at Gonzaga Hall. . .He was the guy who started it all. . .And was a premier booth-holder.

 

I was not aware of his story, other than seeing his name on the yearly show calendar. He didn't have a bit of pretense about him. Just a guy who liked sports related stuff. . .

Edited with my apologies on misspelling his name in the title. He was LeRoy Kilps, and the very least he should have gotten was for me to have gotten his name spelled correctly.

Just a few months ago..as it seems now...he was so emabarrassed when everyone sang happy birthday to him during the show.

I called my brother about this yesterday. That's to bad. I'm sure the next show will be a little odd.

I had no idea who LeRoy was, but I was at the Serb Hall show on Nov. 29th and they mentioned him and we all joined in a moment of silence for him. Sounded like a great guy.

His brothers are named Ricky and Bobby...thats phenomenal!
