Ron Dayne At Champs In Brookfield Today!

Where was everybody? Well needless to say I was happy to obtain 18 autographs from him since the place was dead. He signed everything I had and I gave an extra card I had signed to a kid. Pretty cool guy, definately has lost some weight. I asked him what he was up to these days and if he could play again...he said he was injured and isn't don't much of anything in relation to football right now. He was supposed to be there from 4:30-5:30 but he was there at 4 when I got there and he left just before 6:30.

Holy crap! that is pretty cool for you. Was the signing free? I wanted to get his autograph on an item or two yet, but I wouldn't have been able to go anyways. (I was actually at the Badger game in Evanston. It's kind of ironic that Dayne signed during the Badger game, not before or after.)

 

For anyone interested, he signs this Friday in Madison. 11am-12:30pm. Hilldale Mall University Bookstore. It says it's a book signing for a book about him, so I'm not sure if he's signing other things or whether you have to buy the book to get an auto or not.

Yeah the signing was FREE...they also mentioned his book "The Dayne Game" as well

Funny Story --

 

My son comes hope the other day, and says "Guess what, Ron Dayne's wife is the guidance counselor at our school". So I retorted with "Wow, did you know Terry Bradshaw's wife was the guidance counselor at my school?" -- So, he mumbled something under his breath and left the room.

 

The boy came home yesterday with a signed helmet. Doh'!
