Steve Phillips: As Bad at Extramarital Affairs as He is at Baseball Analysis [Latest: Fired by ESPN--reply #32ish]

Between this, Steve McNair, and the girls my 49-year-old playboy roommate brings home, while there is an exception to every rule I can say to any man that any girl that is more than 15 years younger than you and still in her 20s and is willing to hook up with you has serious issues.

Per the NY Post, turns out Deadspin was right on another (if you count them knowing about Phillips's situation last month as well) rumor.
Well if the NY Post says it....
Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's no love lost between ESPN and the NY Post after the whole posting pictures of Erin Andrews on their website thing. They'd love to report any dirt they had on ESPN.

Yup, he's gone. I really don't think the affair hurt his ability to be a good analyst. He was never good to begin with.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Sunday night the network determined Phillips' ability to be an effective analyst was "significantly and irreparably damaged."

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I suspect he'll find work somewhere down the road. Probably not at MLB.com, but between the Foxes, tbs, online platforms, etc, he'll emerge after a little hiatus. Maybe 2011.

I don't think anyone is claiming that he doesn't have a right to work. . .it's just that ESPN had to fire him.
