At this rate, Gamel won't graduate from the power 50 until sometime in 2011. Absolutely unbelievable that your top prospect is losing playing time to Counsell and riding the bench at this point in the season though. Anyway, best of luck to Looper. It would be nice to close the season out with a series win and prevent the Cardinals from getting home field in the playoffs.

Well, asking them to save face didn't work yesterday. Brewers, if you could at least slow down the pace of shame, that'd be swell.

We're off to a birthday party shortly, but if I get back before the game ends, I'll be in the chat for the last potential evening in-game chat of 2009.

Albert Pujols is a robot.......or a guy who used roids back when they didnt test for them.......or an absolute freak. He is so easy to hate but yet so damn good.

Oh well......I can hate La Russa without any regrets.....

Free Gamel!

Nothing screams classy orginization like St. Louis.....boo Fielder when he falls down in the box, but yet, never boo your fat Albert when he fails to hustle ( 66% of the time when he records any out)

I hate the Cards!

The Cards' announcers are saying "The fans...they're, uh, booing Prince Fielder right now because he didn't show enough effort at his last at-bat running the bases."

Ugh, I can't stand these sanctimonious twits. Really hope anyone from the NL goes on to the Series but them.

Sigh, let's see how long this lead lasts.

Listening on the radio, it certainly sounded like a bit of "Chicken Dance" being played on an organ at the Classy Cathedral of the Game. I'm surprised STL would stoop to such entertainment.

Edit: Not a fan of Cory's phrase, "just a twin killing away" from getting out of the inning.

Edit 2: Except when it works. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
