My own speculation, but maybe Ryan Church could be a fit.

I usally don't start my own rumors, but it's a bit quiet the night before the Winter meetings and I saw that the Nationals were looking for an outfielder with some power to replace Soriano and Guillen. I read on their Web site that the Nationals might be open to trading Jose Vidro and Ryan Church. Now the Nationals are looking to go cheap and young, but maybe if the Brewers were willing to pick up part of Jenkins salary and the Brewers would be willing to take a chance on an unproven, but promising player like Ryan Church, something might be worked out. Probably a longshot due the age of Jenkins and they probably wouldn't be interested in Mench, but I wouldn't mind a trade for Ryan Church.

Here is what I saw on the Nationals Web site.

 

"The Nationals will have to make trades to meet their needs. But the question is, who could they dangle to get better? They are thinking about trading second baseman Jose Vidro and outfielder Ryan Church, according to baseball sources."

He ended the season strong by going 40-for-131 (.305) with six home runs and 24 RBIs in his last 50 games, but he recently went into the team's doghouse after he refused to play in the Mexican Winter League to work on hitting breaking balls on the outside part of the plate. Church didn't go under the advice of his agent Jeff Borris.

 

This is a complete about-face on how the Nationals felt about Church two years ago. It was Bowden who once compared Church to Cardinals Gold Glove center fielder Jim Edmonds.

Neither Church nor Bowden would comment about their disagreement."

I feel like I'm always hearing about problems with the Nats and Church. I think he is a talented player, and I wouldn't mind taking a risk on him if he wouldn't cost us too much.
