Casey McGehee, a strong rookie of the year candidate because of his play over the last three weeks, is out of the lineup against Chicago's Randy Wells tonight.

Craig Counsell gets the start at third base and Jody Gerut (RF) and Alcides Escobar (SS) get starts.

BREWERS

2B Felipe Lopez

3B Craig Counsell

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

CF Mike Cameron

RF Jody Gerut

C Jason Kendall

SS Alcides Escobar

RHP Dave Bush

Is the strike zone as bad as it looks on gameday? Bush had two pitches in the strike zone to Theriot, both were called balls and another right in the middle of the strike zone against Fukudome also called a ball. And that's just the last two hitters.

Oh, swell, Ryan gets robbed, fooling Bob and thus fooling me.

Not really seeing the point of the "let's go cub-bies" chant with 2 outs in the 9th and a comfortable lead. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I unfortunately attending this game and it painful to watch Bush out there. He was missing the zone by feet not inches or getting squeezed. He couldn't come near the zone when Wells tried to sacrifice bunt. His big slow 68mph curve ball looked like a high school pitch. The whole play with the throw to the backstop, Kendall throwing it when he had no shot, and then either Bush missing it or Kendall's throw being off the mark allowing the runner from second to score was the masterpiece stroke. I don't know what happend to Bush he went from a control pitcher in 2006 to a guy who has declined each year and now looks completely beaten out there. That game was an embarassment.
