No way for Milwaukee. First, Sexson didn't want to be here in the first place. Second, he's been injury-prone, I believe. Thirdly, his production has tailed off considerably the last couple of years. And fourth, we already have a first baseman -- granted, Prince isn't as good defensively as Sexson was, but not real liability, either. And firth, the cost is going to be very prohibitive; I doubt if Seattle is really wanting to pick up much of his salary, if they don't have to. Oh, and Seattle is going to want somebody like a Capuano to seal the deal. These are all the thoughts off the top of my head. I'm sure many of the more knowledgeable posters here can add statistics and other reasons to JUST SAY NO (even it fhere was any rumor to this effect).

I can't imagine a match here for Milwaukee, the article is more of a general "Would the Mariners deal Sexson?" piece from Seattle.
