Brewers On Deck 2010?

Dmiles23
I just checked my email, and I had an email from the Brewers telling me that tickets for the Brewers On-Deck 2010 go on sale tomorrow. The event isn't until January 31. Why in the world are they starting to sell tickets for this already?! The event is 5 months away. What is the sense of getting tickets this early?

I noticed the On Deck announcement on Facebook too. My first thought was that they're trying to reach the fans who (given the team's 2009 fortunes) are turning their attention to football, before they get completely tied up in football. Invader's "early cash flow" theory also makes sense.

It's no farther in advance than inviting people to line up at MP in February for single game tickets to September games, I guess.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I definitely think they want to get to as many fans as they can before Wisconsin's eyes fully turn to the Badgers and/or Packers. One thing I noticed about the advertising was that there were no pictures of Fielder to be found. It was Braun, Yo, and Parra. I'm sure I'm just reading too much into that, but I found it amusing.
