crewcrazy

Odd start time on get-away day, but hopefully the Brewers' bats fare better this afternoon than they did yesterday. Let's get Yo win #12, guys. Lineup:

2B Felipe Lopez

RF Frank Catalanotto

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

3B Casey McGehee

CF Mike Cameron

C Jason Kendall

RHP Yovani Gallardo

SS Alcides Escobar

Kendall struggling early.....that guy is not helping his fan base on BF.net lately

I thought it was hilarious how Brian blamed the "ball hitting the corner of the plate" for Kendall not being able to block that.

Nothing like making Yo get 5 outs an inning.

Umpires are just awful. Seemingly every close play that happens they call wrongly. And I really REALLY hate when Rock goes into his "Well, you can't blame the umpires, it was close!" mode. Yes, Bill, you can blame the umpires. They are paid to get the call right and most of time it seems like they just guess. Might as well flip a coin.

Brian and Bill have been funny lately.....being overly excited for the return of Suppan and Bush, talking about how good Kendall is....... they need to know that the fans who watch day in and day out dont buy the excuses!

I wish they would get back to calling the game like it is, not filling us with excuses.

Braun frustrated, as I could hear is F-bomb clearly on that pop-up

Also, I am sick of watching McGehee play defense. He can barely make the routine plays and god help us all if he tries to run or dive for a ball.

Is he really better at 3B than Gamel? Really? Maybe his injury is hurting his D, but it's been like this the whole year.

If Macha wanted to light a fire, a major lineup change like Gamel every day or any other catcher every day could help

I sure hope Yo gets a run or two today.......his season has really been a bummer with the run support. Reminds me a lot of a few years Sheets had where his era and stats were good, yet his win/loss record was not good

I've only had a cursory glimpse at Gameday, but it's hard not to look at the line score and think, "oh, no, they'll make Yo pay for whatever one mistake he made."

Come on, guys. (Not you guys, the Brewers.)

Also - I wouldn't be completely surprised if Casey's injury has been dogging him much of the season. Though you'd think that'd be all the more reason to bring up someone healthier.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Yeah, Yo had better be done. Telly had a comment from DM about Yo and his pitchcount/inning situation and he said "We'll have to wait and see how he feels in Sept." or something like that. That made me kind of uneasy and makes me think they'll try and push him to 200IP for no reason.

And Braun is good.
