Series 7 Exam

Well I made a career change when we moved here to Colorado, and am now studying for my series 7 license. Anyone taken this? Any tips? The amount of studying is insane!

I passed the exam 2 years ago. I already had my CPA and CMA, so I didn't think it was that bad.

 

I probably overstudied, but I couldn't take the chance of not passing due to timing of some things already in motion.

 

I used the Kaplan/Dearborn books and I went to a one week study seminar. I've learned from past exam taking that doing tons of practice questions prepares me the best for the exam.

 

I have a friend who used a different set of books and was getting nowhere. Then he bought the Kaplan/Dearborn books and it all made sense to him.
