Wow I can't believe how bad Silva destroyed Forrest! Silva was taunting him the entire couple minutes in the ring and just laid the hammer on him. What was up with Forrest immediately running to the locker room? Was he that embarrassed by how much he got dominated.

No, he wasn't embarassed. His jaw was dislocated from one of the first punched so it didn't take much for the last jab to knock him out. He fought most of that round with a disloacted jaw and couldn't hear out of one ear, he's a warrior for even still trying at that point and I don't blame him for leaving to get medical help. Anderson is just precise with his punches.

Anderson and Machida train together and still claim they won't fight. It would be interesting though, both are so hard to hit. There really is no point for Anderson at 185 though, unless it's to fight GSP...

Well that was well worth the price of the pay per view. Kenny Florian had a good gameplan but I think we've seen a "new BJ Penn". Penn vs Sanchez will be worth watching but if BJ prepares for that fight the way he did for this one he should win easily.

I feel bad for Forrest that anyone would say he ran off crying. It was strange to see him run out that way but you can't question his toughness and he's not the type of guy that would run off pouting. I give him tons of credit for still fighting after his jaw was broken. We also had it reconfirmed that Silva is just that good. There are only a handful of people that MIGHT be able to beat him. I'd watch him fight Henderson but I don't see Henderson doing well. GSP would be a good match for him but with the size advantage I doubt GSP who is a small Welter weight would be able to beat him. I'd like to see him fight Rampage next. I think that would be a great matchup. That really only leaves Machida if Silva gets past Rampage. The rumors that when his contract runs out Silva would fight Roy Jones Jr is exciting. I also like the idea that he would fight Fedor. How crazy would that be? I think they are #1 and #2 as far as pound for pound fighters in the world.

It was too bad that Amir Sadollah's fight was stopped so quickly. I love Joe Rogan commenting on it in the post fight interview. That sucks that Amir waited over a year for his first fight after winning TUF and it gets stopped early by the ref.

I was a little disappointed in Josh Neer. I don't think that was anywhere near his best performance.

I think the fights were well worth the pay per view price. Sorry for the lack of spaces between my points, I'm work and for some reason I can't get it to space things out.

Oh I didn't know that his jaw was broken early in the fight, that would def. explain why he ran off that quick. I was watching the fight at BWW and could not hear anything on the TV because it was so loud. But that was just the impression everyone in the building got when Silva took him down.

I didn't mean that comment to be in response to you wOOgie. I had read on other message boards where people were saying "run Forrest run" and that he ran off crying. It was definitely strange to see him take off like that but from what we've seen from Forrest I would never assume it was because he wasn't tough. I had the advantage of watching the fights early in the morning when I got home from work. After watching it I went on the internet and the story was already out.
