The Astros or Rangers. Houston's offense frickin' sucked, and they have a gigantic boatload of payroll coming off the books this winter, allowing them to spend spend spend. Plus, they do not seem averse to signing aging players. Texas is always looking to spend money on offense, and could allow him to DH. With Mench/Lee gone as well as Matthews probably testing free agency, I could see them looking for offense in Bonds.

1) Angels--Moreno wants to make a splash and he has the money and the DH opening to do it.

2) Yankees-They could use a DH

3) Giants-still possible and would clearly take him back at the right price

4)Orioles-because they'll overpay for someone

Its really weird how there are three great but old hitters available this offseason in Bonds, Alou, and Sheffield. Some teams will get a great DH if they choose the one that can play 140+ games.

Hmmmm....interesting topic.

I never figured this would actually happen. I felt the San Fran position was nothing more than a way of deflating his expectations and that they would end up re-signing him. I guess I still think that is the case, although Bonds has a ton of pride and may see San Fran as snubbing him.

It's an interesting off-season storyline.

I'll take San Fran.

The Yankees.

Big Stein wants a new DH just for the sake of change after another first round exit. He's also gotta be salivating at having a chance at a Yankee breaking the home run record. Ego will play a big factor on where BB signs.

Milwaukee Brewers. 1 yr 1 mill with an additional 12 million in performance incentives. You'd do it, wouldn't ya?
