From WhiteSoxInteractive it sounds like they got him at the risk of two high upside prospects (Carter and Poreda) and lots of money for a pitcher who may never be completely healthy, but kept their top pitching prospect (Hudson) who was part of the rejected deal.

 

Edit: According to Ken Rosenthal it was the same four pitchers.
