One of you mentioned you thought we'd end up trading Hardy at some point for an O's starter. Might it happen for Guthrie and sooner than later? Here's the link showing teams are calling about Guthrie...

Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi are saying that multiple teams have put in calls for Orioles RHP Jeremy Guthrie. However, their source says that the Orioles are "unlikely" to move him, and the Orioles would likely have to be overwhelmed to make a deal.

Is it just me, or is it the same every year with the Orioles? Player A could be available but we are going to want the moon and the stars to let him go. Meanwhile, they continue to stink every season.

It just seems like a trade that would be about even straight up. And neither is having their best year obviously. They are about to have pretty darn good starting pitching anyway next year but could really use a good SS. We have a good SS about ready to take JJ's job and need starting pitching in the worst way.
