I just flipped to Baseball Tonight, and they're discussing the NL Central. They just said "focus on the number in the loss column, and for the purpose of this discussion, we'll leave the Brewers out". Uhh....we have 51 losses compared to Houston's 50. So all of a sudden we're done and they're not? I might be overreacting, but I'm tired of seeing the Brewers getting overlooked by the "World's Leader in Sports".

Proof ESPN hates Milwaukee.

They deserve to be left out of the discussion. Wisconsin teams have gotten plenty of love from the World Wide Leader when it was deserved. It's not right now.

ESPN basically took one look at our pitching staff back in March and decided to ignore us for the whole year. Considering the extra wins we would have with Parra pitching like last year, Bush being healthy, and Rickie Weeks playing full time, we could easily have been right there.

Well, thank goodness.

I don't like that I've reverted to my '02-03 habit of marking the tiniest milestones in a game or series (averted no-hitter, averted shutout, averted series sweep), but I am glad that the Brewers now can't be swept by the Nats, not to mention that they still have a chance at splitting the series.

P.S. Yo, you might want to be ready to pitch a CG on Thursday. I thought about using blue there but decided against it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
