Share your Brewers dreams

brewdude15

Seeing as there's a few people sharing their recent dreams about the Brewers, I figured I'd start a separate thread.

My recent dream involves the Brewers getting things together, and making the postseason yet this year.

I had a dream that Brad Nelson broke his hitless streak with the biggest home run in Miller Park history, which was also a grand slam to win the game.

Then the next night he came up, with the bases loaded late in the game and struck out.

Late last season, I had a dream that the Brewers had a 3 game lead for a postseason spot, with 4 games left to play. They lost every game and missed the playoffs. It was an awful dream, and when the Brewers were getting whipped in Philly last September, I began thinking that dream was more of an omen. Thankfully, the Mets bad dreams turned out to be worse than mine...

Last year, I had a dream where in the last game of the season, the Brewers quietly activated Derrick Turnbow without announcing it to the media. The Brewers needed to win to make the playoffs, had a 1 run lead over the Cubs, and the Cubs managed to load the bases with no outs in the 9th. Dale Sveum came out to the mound and signalled to the bullpen for a righty. The door opened, Metallica came on over the PA, and Turnbow appeared out of nowhere to strike out the side and preserve the win.

Turnbow then announced his retirement after the game, Chet Steadman-style, and elevated himself to legend status.

I had a dream last night night I co-authored and published a book with Walter Cronkite. The title of the book was "100 days with FTJ and Walter" - and the premise of the book was that Walter Cronkite and I would tour baseball parks for 100 days and write about the experience.

Weird? I think so.

I should clarify, I wasn't touring the park with his remains -- rather Walter Cronkite circa 1980.

I have a recurring dream where I go to a baseball game, sometimes at Miller Park but usually at some weird random ballpark that's not any recognizable MLB park and the Brewers aren't necessarily playing, and my seats are always in some bizarre seating section either facing away from the field or with a view of a small sliver of the outfield. Sometimes the seats are in a room off the concourse with no view at all of the field. I have this dream once a month or so. Anyone have any idea what this might mean?
