There are alot of marketable bats that could help SF here. Branyan, Uggla, R.Hernandez, Rolen, etc.... To think that we are the only team on the fringe is wrong.

 

Although it is a possibility it's us, I doubt it.

3B/SS/2B Bill Hall

 

Brewers get:

LHP Barry Zito

OF Nate Schierholtz

 

EDIT: Brewers give the Giants a CF to replace Rowand, and Hall to play SS/2B/3B off the bench, and in return get a starting pitcher and someone to play RF after Hart moves to CF.

The Giants would have to pick up almost all of Zito's contract for me to be interested in that.

Well, SF would be happy to take Hall if the Crew took Zito monstrosity off their hands. With 5y/$93M left, that's still the worst contract in the game. Given Hall's owed $9M after this year, SF would have to throw in about $50-60M for me to have an iota of interest.
