Would it make sense for the Brewers to look at Qualls? Suppposedly the D-Backs are shopping their current closer around. While his ERA is around 3.5, his WHIP is pretty low. With McClung out with an injury, I'm wondering if this would be worth exploring. Supposedly the Brewers are still talking with Arizona about Doug Davis. Maybe a package for Davis and Qualls could be worked out? Qualls would still be under team control through next year.

Qualls would help, but what would we give up? He has value in the current market. Davis is useless. Adding him might actually make our staff worse. Nice guy, but I cannot stand watching him pitch. Is there any talk of Kazmir? Send Hart and prospects to the Rays, while we assume Kasmir's contract.....
