Nichols Jersey

I just bought a $25 jersey at the sausage run. It has the name of Nichols on the back. The number is 63. It's the current logo. Not a button down. The person said it was game worn. I cant't find any players with the name. Any idea who it could be? Coach of some kind? Any help would be great.

A quick google search reveals a Reid Nichols who is the current minor league farm director for the Brewers. Wouldn't exactly be a "game worn" jersey though, as he retired from the Expos in '87. I have no idea if that's who it would have belonged to, though.

I didn't buy it for the name, but the price. I was just curious.

I'm guessing game worn in this instance just means that Nichols wore in on the field when he was in town and in the dugout one day, possibly in his work at the minor league level. Quite often the farm guys and scouts will often wear the same uniform the players do for various on-field events. So while Reid Nichols hasn't actually played for quite some time, you bought the jersey he wore on the field at some point in time, somewhere.

I bought a game used Lou Palmisano Spring training jersey at the Sausage race for $25. That was one of the few jerseys that fit. Why do ball players wear such large jersey's? They had a Zach Jackson that was size 50.
