A scout compared Escobar to Jeter the other day, and I looked at the numbers here.

 

I think lots of folks fail to comprehend how good Alcides is doing offensively for a 22 year-old in his first year of AAA. I doubt he'll hit 15 homers a year like Derek, but I would not be at all surprised with 60 XBH in 2-3 years, to go along with stellar defense.
