OKAY MACHA. what do you do with a line-up that banged out 14 hits? well obviously, you change it.
That is because he read all the complaints on brewerfan about Kendall leading off and Gamel not playing http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

This team has been abysmal in games where they have a chance to win a series or finish a sweep.
Fortunately, this game fit neither of those categories.

I didn't see the Cameron play live, but I just watched the replay. It was so obviously interference, I don't know how anyone could reasonably be mad at the ump. Cameron was on the base when he started sliding and dragged the second baseman a body length past the base. Macha had to go argue, but I'm sure even he knew Cameron screwed the pooch there.

The point, and most important thing in my opinion, is that interference is rarely called. Runners start their slide at the bag or slide when they can't reach the bag all the time.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

But he started the slide basically after the bag, if there ever was an interference call to be made that was it and it was just him not using his head. Both plays he screwed up seemed to just be him not having his head in the game.

As for the lineup it is silly to think changing the lineup changed our runs scored, I hope you realize this and were just looking for excuses to complain. We wouldn't have scored 10 runs had we used last nights lineup, it had at best a negligible effect.

I hope Braun is ok.

It might be rarely called, but I can't be upset about that call on Cameron. It was pretty blatant. I think the other standard rule for that is you have to stay on the bag, and Cam was well beyond the bag at the end of that slide.

I really like Cameron but he's been piling up the mental errors in the past couple of weeks.

Brewers.com says Braun left complaining of a sore wrist and weak grip after being hit by Arroyo.

I just don't get how this team can score 9 runs one night and put up a zero against Bronson Arroyo of all people the next. I know every team gets shut out from time to time, but it seems like the Brewers have been making it a bit of a habit the last few weeks.

Of course it doesn't mean much in any single game, but putting your worst hitter lead off repeatedly is just plain dumb.

Cameron slides late quite often.
