$5.00 Loge Outfield tickets for Aug. 11, 12, 13th.

"In only 12 minutes, Milwaukee Brewers fans snapped up 5,000 tickets at $5 apiece, thanks to a promotion that was tied to the number of home runs Prince Fielder hit Monday night in the Home Run Derby in St. Louis.

 

According to a Brewers team official, people looking to get tickets started lining up at the Brewers ticket window as early as Monday night. And Tuesday morning, hundreds more were in line to take advantage of the deal.

 

Tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. at the box office and online, and were gone in 12 minutes."

I guess I got lucky. 4 for Wednesday and 6 for Thursday, and the timing couldn't be better. This will be my last hurrah before moving to Alaska.

Out of curiosity, what time did you get on?

I got them a little before 9. 8:59 or so.

Out of curiosity I looked at these three games on fansnap right around 9:00 and again just a minute ago and there are a lot more loge outfield available now on the various ticket sites. So clearly a lot of these are getting re-sold -- not shocking.

 

For future reference, I usually have pretty good luck with concert tickets, etc. having a separate browser window open with the 'official' time from time.gov, then click on whatever ticket link right at the top of the hour. I read that somewhere awhile ago and it's at least something to try.
