I'm completely baffled by what's up in Kansas City. At least Francouer's contract is up at the end of the year and considering everything else that's going on in New York, it's probably not the difference between making the playoffs and not making the playoffs. There's a saying that it's not the money, it's the years, and KC has willingly put a millstone around their neck for the next few years. This might be worse than that Matt Morris deal that the Pirates pulled a few years ago.
